Although large number of people flood the market in search of jobs, very few , approximately 18-20% are considered employable. Companies in the manufacturing sector are grappling with the skill gap issue and find it hard to find the right candidates. Automotive sector is expected to create 65 million direct and indirect jobs by 2026. Almost 30-40 % of Engineering, MBA, BBA and Commerce graduates do not find jobs, while many others get something well below their qualifications.
There is a huge potential to train students from diverse background like engineering, management, diploma, commerce and align them to specific auto industry’s requirements. Apart from employability skills, familiarity with automobile industry is important to increase your chances of getting hired for the right job.
